I'm excited for the mini-series. At least the concept behind it is interesting, even if the execution might end up sucking.. but I guess the same could be said for any book so I'll remain positive!

Maybe Northstar will get his own small story!

I like this type of series, looking forward to this. Ramos on the covers is a nice bonus too!

On that Uncanny X-Men # 500 cover by Turner, I would be he's doing the men and Dodson is doing the women on his variant.

I like the concept of Cyclops forming his own vision for the X-Men. And even making a new base of operations. But why San Francisco? There's precious little real estate around there to hide mutants and a large compound. Will it be hidden in the bay?

I don't know where they'll put it, but you have to admit San Fran is the last place someone would go look for a military base.

I think they should take over the Presidio.

When they mentioned a fortress a part of me thought maybe they were giving a nod to the last movie and moving into Alcatraz, being a part of San Fran but still isolated.

I do find it odd that they say in the interview that this is the first time they've operated outside the mansion since it kind of ignores the Outback HQ and to a lesser degree Ship.

AXEL ALONSO: In July, the X-Men will, for the first time in their 40-years-plus history, uproot themselves from Westchester and move to a new home

That's weird. In my time line they moved to Australia once.
