IDW Lands G.I. Joe License

Long rumored, official word came today from Hasbro that IDW Publishing has landed the G.I. Joe license and will begin publishing a new monthly comic series in October, with reprints and much more to come.

I'm hoping for a good main series along with AFFORDABLE digest-size reprints of classic Marvel stuff.

The Transformers reprints were too scattershot and too expensive for old material.

No reboot. Not necessary. Just tell good stories from within the framework that Hama and later DDP put in place. With Hama onboard, it shouldn't be that tough. It's not as if anyone knows these characters better than Hama himself!
