    I vaguely remember reading a post that said the chat feature may return. Will it?
    What have I always believed? That, on the whole, and by and large, if a person lived properly, not according to what any priests said, but according to what seemed decent and honest inside, then it would, at the end, more or less, turn out ok.

    Most of the regulars in chat were well known drinkers. I don't think Howy ever left.

    I should like a little history lesson, please. What was the old chat like? Did it have multiple rooms/channels? When was it removed?

    One room, one channel, board upgrade didn't support chat.

    Before the forum style chat, there was a stand alone web based chat. It was very clunky and CBR stopped using it for several reasons including some legal reasons.

    As for the return of a forum chat, Jonah has said he is working on it.

    It's a matter of finding the time to get it done. I'll ask Stephen Gerding to looking into it for me, see if he can't set it up.

    Personally, much as I loved the chat, I'd rather they concentrated on the server problems first.
