I am so ready for Danny to have some really cool moments in this series. I am glad his has had some panel time but just a character defining moment or two would be great. I hope it happens.

I think his moment is yet to come. I've seen work-in-progress sketches of him physically carrying Hope away (she looks surprised) and then standing between her and whatever's after her. Probably the Phoenix [Numeral] when they discover and attack K'un-Lun

With his recent upgrade in the Immortal Iron Fist series, his senses were heightened. He was able to hear a bead of sweat rolling down a person's face. That was the only time his heightened were mentioned. How he accesses them and to what degree the others have been heightened have not been addressed.

Thanks. It was driving me crazy trying to find an answer. I hope it gets covered in the AvX or Defenders. I wonder if his senses are always heightened or if he has to channel his chi. From every comic I've been trying to read with Iron Fist...I don't think he has to channel his chi. But I am not an Iron Fist expert so that's why I asked. Thanks again.

One one has addressed those questions regarding Fist. The heightened senses was just addressed after he added Orson Randall's Chi to his own and he gain access to the book of the iron fist. Danny has a lot of areas that can be explored if only a writer would take those creative reins.

Thanks for the answers. I am trying to catch-up on Iron Fist; so I have some questions trying to figure out what is going on with him.

It is said that Iron Fist is now an Immortal Weapon of Agamotto. Is he still? If so, what does that do for him; or what does he have to do being that?

I think we'll see Danny have some cool moments for sure as we enter part 3. Like chariset said, there are panels that also show Danny protecting Hope and of course the link between the IF power and the PF which will no doubt play a part in all this...Plus all the Avengers are in K'un-Lun now so it'll be interesting to see what happens next.

I believe his senses are always heightened, he was able to sense a Hydra assassination squad outside when he was sitting in a room and then he was able to sense Hand ninjas in an instant:

Either way you just can't mess with Danny Rand.

I assume he still is and whether or not it'll be explained remains to be seen. I do think though we'll see this plot thread revisited in Bendis' last New Avengers arc in the coming months...
