I think Singh is a great director on the visuals level but his films from a story level arent that great so you need to find someone who can write a kick-ass iron fist screenplay to make singh work.
Also Fist fans be sure to tune in to Ultimate Spider-Man tomorrow, Venom returns and in a small clip Danny was shown blocking his attacks from all sides.
Iron Fist is always spotted in the Fury Files segment after USM, he's just one of thousands of SHIELD operatives stationed around the globe!
Also a feature on totallylookslike lol, the Iron Fist emblem and Skyrim logo kind of share a resemblance?

Oh man. Now I'm gonna have to make a Skyrim character focused on hand-to-hand, then fight a dragon. It even works since you absorb their life force.
Danny's star is definitely on the rise. Plus his backstory involves dragons. Who doesn't like dragons?
Danny has one of the coolest origin stories no doubt.
Also looks like the clip of Danny fighting Venom with his team was from another episode. Venom was indeed back today but it wasn't the episode from the clip...

It's not great, but if you've read the Heroes for Hire series in the '90s, then this wraps up a major plot thread. Plus, you need an issue of New Warriors, too, to round out the story. It's another small piece in the Iron Fist mythos. There's a history from the Claremont/Byrne run of guys like Davos wanting to steal Danny's chi. This is another part of that. And of K'un-Lun. I'd say it's worth getting if you want to complete your Iron Fist set.

Nice!! I have a long box basically devoted to everything Iron Fist. Do you have these as individual back issues or did you buy trades? I have all of Power Man & Iron Fist too, except the ROM issue, as a mix of back issues and Essentials. I also have a lot of individual Iron Fist issues, but now that the Marvel Premieres and Masterworks are coming out, I'm grabbing those.
Also, there's a recent Marvel Team-up trade that just came out. In it are two of the best classic Iron Fist stories out there -- and they come full-circle in Immortal Iron Fist.
(As an aside my local was selling that Sabre-Tooth issue for $150 recently. I passed. Maybe next time!)

Would taskmaster be a good IF villain ?
Beautiful. Wu Ao Shi is quite the beautiful.....ah....tiger mother isn't she?
As you can probably tell by my name, I definitely like dragons.
It's interesting that you mention backstory, however, since Iron Fist's backstory is very steeped in Chinese mythology. (Sorry for sounding like a broken record for those who've heard me say this before.) K'un L'un, for instance, was a very real part of ancient Chinese religion. It was believed to be a mountainous paradise covered in the clouds that lay to the far West. In the Han dynasty, burial rituals were conducted to ensure that the souls of the dead would end up there. Yu-Ti is actually based off of the term Yu-Di ( 玉帝 which you see in the opening pages of NA#25). Yu-Di is the Chinese name for the Jade Emperor who was (and still is for many worshippers) believed to be the ruler of heaven.
During the most recent Iron Fist series, a lot of Chinese history has been incorporated. The first page of the first issue shows the Mongol invasions. During the Ming Dynasty, which was the time of Wu Ao Shi, Japanese piracy was a HUGE problem for the Southeast coast of China. For the Iron Fists of the 19th century (whose names I don't recall right now), of course you have the Spheres of Influence of the Western Imperial powers as well as Chinese immigration to the Old West.
As you can tell, for the East Asian Studies scholar like me, these were the parts that I truly appreciated about the series. Every issue was almost like a mini history/culture/religion lesson!
Got this during the early 2000s, back at a time when Iron Fist really got on my radar. I heard a lot of reviewers call it just some hyped up fanfiction, and to a point they are right. Tons of guests stars from random Marvel characters and a random Mary Sue villain in the form of Junzo Mutoh. I will say that I was miffed by the ending, mainly because the pay off wasn't that good. YOu had to read an issue of Black Panther in order to see that ending you wanted happen.
Oh yes, Taskmaster would make a great villain for Danny. He'd make a great villain for Shang-Chi too, but that would be a different thread...

No, it can work really well. You just have to focus on heavy armor and smithing.
There's a heavy armor perk called "Fists of Steel" that adds your armor rating to your unarmed damage. With some tricked out armor and a couple fortify unarmed damage enchantments, you can punch dragons to death.
