She already had Phoenix temper-tantrums going on. Time was short. They may have bent the rules on her training.
Either that or she's already had some hand-to-hand combat lessons. What's the school system like in K'un-Lun? Kung fu might be as compulsory there as spelling is here
Great Iron Fist and the Immortal Weapons piece I came across. Don't know who it's by, but would be great to see this colored:
Here's the finished Iron Fist piece drawn by J. Scott Campbell:
Iron Fist was featured on Disney XD's Marvel Master Class and it was J. Scott Campbell who showed us how to draw him. It's based off his look in Ultimate Spider-Man obviously but it was an awesome segment. Loved when Campbell mentioned the "Kirby Krackle".![]()

Well it has not really been defined. K'un L'un has numerous instructors. I mean the entire city trains in martial arts. The best students end up training with the immortal Lei Kung, The Thunderer. All we have seen is the training with Lei Kung. I always thought that Lei Kung should have rival instructors in K'un L'un. But then the Immortal Iron Fist series was written and it seems that the other Immortal Cities instructors could be seen as his rivals. It just shows that there are so many potential story lines that could be written from the story that was written in the Immortal Iron Fist. Could there be other immortal instructors in K'un L'un besides Lei Kung or has there ever been any? There are so many questions that have never been answered involving K'un L'un and its citizens.
Well, maybe because I know so little about Marvel's Leonardo, and maybe it would've helped if we knew how much time elapsed between building the telescope and training Fongji, and then how long it took to train her to get ready to face Shao-Lou, but the whole thing seemed real rushed, and yet, nothing happened, right? I mean, this is an earlier visit of the Phoenix. As some you you smarties theorized, we'll probably find the mystery to how Danny MAY help Hope host the PF. Maybe. But I still don't get why the whole thing was rushed.
Also: So the last page of NA 25, when Yu Ti is confering with Lei Kung, a scene that was supposed to take place in the present? I assume we'll just get back to that scene ... with Spider-Man in the next issue?
And... why the $*&^ is she wearing a uniform with the white %&*$ing top??? She should come out of the cave with the sign of Shao-Lou burned into her flesh! Gah!!
But, hats off to Deodato for some amazingly stunning pages. Really just great to look at. One quibble on his art: Fongji's face kept changing. But that aside, the pages were great and helped carry the story.
Maybe I'm being overly critical.

^ Also, sorry for being a crankosaurus. Because it occurs to me that while I'm quibbling over a Bendis-written issue of New Avengers, I am getting something I keep yearning for, which is a return to K'un-Lun. So, while I have high expectations, I realize how awesome it is the we Iron Fist fans are getting such goodness. Peace.

Anyone know if the Iron Fist movie is still dead? Also is it with Marvel?

holy balls darth maul himself! Also snake eyes in G.I. Joe. I just hope they keep it simple and not over budget. Harken back to the good ole days of kung fu movies.
If successful could u see a defenders movie happening with him?
