No doubt the Brubaker/Fraction/Aja run was incredible. Just the thought of everything that happens in that run is to awesome for words.

I just. Did a very quick read of New Avengers 24. Danny's got lots of screen time, so to speak, but it's the Luke and Jessica show. And like a lot of New Avengers stuff, it's chronologically behind in continuity. I expect more of that next few months with AvX. Still nice to see Danny being part of the team. Of course waiting for next month's issue!

Grrr... I was looking forward to that one, but if it's all Jessica and Luke working out their marriage issues, I won't bother...

Unless you've been reading NA for awhile and want to see Bendis start wrapping up all his loose ends before he sails off, i think you're safe to overlook this. Put the $3.99 toward your first Iron Fist trade!

Yeah, it was mostly a Luke Cage book. I'm worried that the Iron Fist parts we've been promised will turn out to have him in a background role. Anyways, i wrote a review (in my sig) if you guys want to check it out. It was a good issue but lacking in some regards. I just really don't care for the Luke/Jessica drama.

If I'm reading the situation correctly, it won't be. Danny seems to represent a third option (if A is 'keep Hope on Utopia until Phoenix gets here' and B is 'take Hope to Mars/Krypton/the Dark Dimension'). He represents option C, 'get Hope some training so that she can use the Phoenix Force without it taking over.'

What's likely to happen is that Hope and Danny will disappear from the main story, but apparently the fight continues. Though I understand the worry that only the story which happens in the AvX books really 'counts' and nothing in the side books will advance the plot or reveal anything which isn't in the main title.

Danny will be apart of the main story, he'll learn new information from the Book of the Iron Fist that'll prove to be a real game-changer as confirmed by Brevoort. Plus Brubaker will return to writing Danny in Avengers vs X-Men #5 I believe.
