Iron Fist Appreciation

So who do think from the X-Men side would be a good match up for Danny? We know he's going to play a big role in Avengers vs. X-Men and he's had history with the X-Men in the past.

So far the match ups are:

Psylocke/Black Widow
Iron Man/Magneto
Namor/Thing

If you assume that Wolvie will side with the X-Men, he is the obvious choice. The Living Weapon vs Weapon X.

Yeah a lengthy brawl this time would be great, could make for one of the biggest and brutal fights to take place.

Good question. Wolverine would be a good pick (the last sparring match they had was lame) but it looks like he's siding with the Avengers. I would've said Psylocke but she's fighting Natasha. Maybe Deadpool?

So I'm half way through with the 2nd Iron Fist TPB by Brubaker (finished the first about a week ago) and I keep asking myself ....Why the hell was this series canceled? This series is simply amazing and Danny is quickly moving up the list of being one of my favorite characters. I'm actually mad at myself for not looking into him more sooner.

Because that incredible creative team left the book. If they could have stayed together for another year or two, I believe it could have been one of the all time great runs in comics.

No doubt lol, but few other X-Men could match IF's H2H skills. Figured Gambit has enough training to last a couple rounds at least. His kinetic charge abilities could look great in contrast with IF's chi abilities. I'd love to see Iron Fist catch a card and whip it back at him charged full of chi
