Good stuff. Love annotations, it really brings works of fiction to life.
Thanks!
In the most recent X-Position I asked Duane Swierczynski about exploring the legacy of the rest of the Immortal Weapons besides Iron Fist, and here's his response:
Okay, one hint for you: Woof woof.
Which makes me incredibly happy. Dog Brother #1 has so much going on with him, it'll be a blast to get to know him better. Wonder if it'll be adressed in a one-shot or confined to the pages of the main book, though.
If only we got more Bride of Nine Spiders as well, I'll love this book even more.
While I like all the Immortal Weapons, I think Fat Cobra has the most crossover potential. I'd love to see him appear in, say, INCREDIBLE HERC.

Agreed, definitely excited about that. While all of the Weapons need some more fleshing out, apart from maybe John Aman who has at least some backstory behind him, Dog Brother #1 is the one we haven't seen that much of since he was introduced so cannot wait for this.
I also want Colleen to have a larger presence in the book, I feel like she's been marginalized lately, like writers may not know what to do with her, apart from slashing at things with a katana. Maybe because she's just another samurai/ninja girl in comics, but she was the ORIGINAL samurai girl in comics, and important to Danny's supporting cast as his first ever friend (in NY anyway).
I agree with your statement about colleen. For a long time she was considered Danny "closest" friend (we all know that Luke is his best friend) due to the time he used his chi and telepathically fuse his consciousness temporarily with Colleen and melded their minds. he did this to undue some brainwashing some enemy (i can remember who but it may have been Master Khan) had did to her to get Colleen to kill him. Anyway with that meld they knew intimate details of each other lives. this happen in the early iron fist series, but this connection has not been explored in years.
