Ok, just read Immortal Iron Fist vol 1. And: HOLY CRAP. That was pretty damn awesome! Going into it, I really didn't know what to expect. I grew up on kung fu, and still love them. But, I'm not really what you'd call a fan of Fraction. For me, his books have been either terrible (Fear Itself), or average (Defenders). So, a bit apprehensive. But man, the moment Orson punched a dude in half, all my fears were gone. Great art, great world building so far. Also pretty funny times, mostly from Danny's reactions to the weird crap that's happening. Really looking forward to the rest of the series.

So like Aman said there be new Weapons given what happened to Dog Brother, Tiger's Beautiful Daughter and Bride of Nine Spiders. Anyone think existing characters will become Immortal Weapons, or will we be introduced to new characters as the Dog, Tiger and Bride? Can't wait to see what happens.

A way of clearing the slate, maybe? The Confederate of the Curious have been replaced by the Defenders, so the Immortal Weapons will be replaced as well?

Replaced how? The Immortal Weapons are a lineage that have represented their captial cities for centuries. Three are dead but four are still alive...So I'm assuming the captial cities of Dog Brother, Tiger's Beautiful Daughter and Bride of Nine Spiders will choose someone new as their champions. I wonder when or how they'll be introduced. *ponders*

I think maybe new versions of these legacies from there cities might come forth because i dont think any of these characters formed atteachments to any existing marvel character that could fill their shoes so to speak.
