Awesome cover, the whole issue seems to be on Wolverine so I won't complain about the overexposure.
Agreed. And that's saying something because Turner's cover was bad-freakin'-ass!
But this...this is on a whole different level.![]()
My first thought was: "How odd - like DC doing an All-Star Identity Crisis or something..."
Best cover i've seen all year. period
It just seems that for thirty years, there was this unspoken trickle rule about wolverine's origin, such that the original Origin mini is very much a cornerstone of the current era of event driven, can't-put-my-finger-on-it. So ultimatizing that struck me as double-overkill.
Seems more like an Ultimate version of the old Barry Windsor-Smith Weapon X mini to me.
Besides, Origin didn't really contain any relevant information other than that the first person Logan ever killed was his father, and all the rest was filler.
'The marquis. Well, you know, to be honest, he seems a little bit dodgy to me.'
'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."
