I'm really looking forward to this. Wood is a well-received excellent writer, and I'm a BIG fan of Becky Cloonan's artwork. Put the two together, and...

The back-up story written by Cloonan and illustrated by Wood is in issue #12 of the original single issues, and is kind of a little sequel to "NYC," starring the characters Mike and Marie.

That was issue 12. The only time they returned to any of the characters from the previous issues (issue 1 to be exact) it was a pretty good story and very nice to see Wood's art again. I know he's a great writer and fully respect and understand lack of time to draw a comic anymore, but I do love his art in Channel Zero. Though if he drew Demo fully would have missed the beautiful art of Cloonan, bah fair enough trade he does get great artists.

Any who very much looking forward to the new series.

I've liked Demo even better than I've enjoyed Local and both of those more than DMZ (which, admittedly, I haven't seen in over a year). I think it's well suited to Vertigo's imprint, and will prove to be a sleeper hit. If this were fifteen years ago, I'd be getting two or three copies of issue one!
