This issue was somewhat of a let down, since the first came with so much story, this was all action, but with alot of hidden clues the average reader would not notice. Im still hooked though and cant wait for more skrulliness.![]()

This incredible issue hit me in a lot of different ways. My wife and I had our first experience with miscarriage two weeks ago today. Now November 30 will forever be our "October 12". I don't know if BMB reads these boards or not, but if so, Mr. Bendis thank you for providing an escape that goes much deeper than simply who is/isn't a Skrull. Can't wait for #3.
14 looks like a nova uniform or captain universe.
After the filler issues of New and Mighty I had hoped this would have had some meat to it

I really don't get how the Phoenix-skrull and/or the Dr. Strange-skrull would workSeriously, I get it that they can replecate DNA and mimic superpowers, but these two (and probably other ones) just don't make sense.
Dr. Strange is a sorcerer Supreme. It's not just that he can do magic, it's the scale of his power and the sheer amount of different and unrelated feats that he can perform. How the HELL do you mimic calling upon the Vishanti?! Or doing any of the other amazing things Strange can do? Most importanting, how can they mimc his greatest weakness (his inability to stop a plane from crashingThanks Bendis!) ?!
And a Phoenix Skrull? Really? That better be just a "special effect" for a generic TP-TK skrull. The Phoenix force is just that - a force. It isn't a power one could mimc. It's sentient force of creation that chooses its champions. Its a power with no limit, an inifine force. How the hell would they mimc the power to repair a whole timeline? To hold a whole universe in one's hand? And if they could do so, why would they need any OTHER kind of skrull?! An army of Phoenix-skrulls is ALL they need to conqure Earth, and any other planet out there.
I guess the suspension of belief needed for this crossover is more than I can handle... I'd really like some explenations down the road.
Oh, and the issue was cool![]()
Man, I cannot wait for the next issue as this is starting to get good.![]()
Ok, I get how the skrull queen came about from new avengers. what happened to the skrull king from earlier in the issue? is it something that was shown in another book?
Also, I love where this is going; looking forward to this and Final Crisis.
