so Jono wont be involved in whatever is going on with Paige? that really sucks, I was hoping for a reunion with those 2 at least, but Im more convinced than ever now that they are trying to keep the remaining Gen Xers separate for some reason.

really its so ridiculous to have Jono & Paige in the same book & not even have them interact at all.

Will we ever even see them help Jubilee, or look for Penance at AA...I guess not either.

Does anybody know where this image is from? I saw it on Comicvine, but have never seen it before. It's a Bryan Hitch piece and may have been a promotional image or pinup. Maybe I've overlooked it in one of the annuals, but not sure.

It was a promotional poster, I saw it in a Wizard or maybe another comic book ages ago.

A couple of pay days ago I picked up all of Generation X off ebay and gotta say it's definitely one of my favourite comic series to date.

Does anyone have a vaguely detailed list of follow up reading for Chamber? His wiki page highlights the big events of his life but doesn't actually specifically mention issues. I picked up Poptopia and 'Uncanny X-men: Hope' but in the latter he is only mentioned as having left to go to college. I know eventually I'll end up reading New Warriors 4 (?) but no idea what to pick up before then.

Congrats on your recent acquisition, that was money well spent! Comicbookdb.com has an excellent system for providing appearances in chronological order. Here's the Chamber list, and I'll go ahead and give you the rundown. There's some good reading here. After you track these down, make sure to head over to the Chamber Appreciation Thread and tell us your favorites.

    Uncanny X-Men #395-405, 407-409, 422-423, Annual 2001 - Chamber became an X-Man right after Gen X
Chamber #1-4 - Then had his own awesome mini-series
Weapon X #15-20 - Then became an secret agent of sorts
Weapon X Days of Future Now #1, 3-5
    Generation M #1 - Then became depowered
New Excalibur #9 - Discovers his true lineage
New Warriors (2007) #2-9, 11-20 - Gains power through technology
Age of X Alpha #1 - Gets his powers back
    Age of X Universe #1
    New Mutants (2009) #22, 24
    X-Men Legacy #245, 247, 250, 264

Everything after New Warriors is mainly just cameo appearances, but are still good. These issues are also listed during the Uncanny X-Men time, but I have never read them and can't really vouch, probably cameos again.
Marvel Universe the End #1, 5
    The Order #5-6

Cheers for the list dude, that's plenty to be on the lookout for ^^

Apologies if this has already been discussed but the thread is a bit long to go searching. Did anyone else find that the Revolution time jump really hurt Generation X? I've only recently started reading X-books so wasn't aware it was going to happen but they were forced to skip past such a major event causing quite a few confused issues.

Man I used to hate Hitch's work back then.
What is this, Horseville? Because I'm surrounded by naysayers.

after youve read the Gen X issues, read Casey's Uncanny issues then read Brian K. Vaghaun's Icon series(Chamber 1-4). And then maybe Weapon X if you want. Dont bother with New Warriors, everyone was ooc there not just Chamber.

Agreed, they used and misused Generation X pretty badly late in its life, alas.

New Warriors was pretty terrible. The writer didn't know how to write a team book with various interesting characters; he was basically writing "Nighthawk and Friends" -- on the plus side, Jubilee and Chamber, the former GenXers, had a much better showing than the other disposable heroes/Nighthawk-sidekicks in that series. One particular moment I liked was when they were assembling their equipment in the dark and Jono was the only one to complete the task successfully (I think one other person assembled the equipment, but it wasn't in proper working order like Jono's). And Jubilee was the only one to openly question Nighthawk's lack of leadership ability, though she was obviously being used as a plot device/foil for Nighthawk in that case.

the only reason I kept my NW issues & have not completely rejected the series is b/c its the only book other than those couple of pages in Age of X where Jubilee & Chamber's friendship/past is acknowledged. But for newbies its not really worth reading, at least not until after theyve read everything else.

I'm trying to get through it right now, but it's pretty tough. Plus I keep getting distracted by Jube's Boobs.

So, she never gets talked about really, but does Blink actually count as a member of Gen X since she wasn't really there for the formal formation of the team? I'm all for including her personally as was a part of the Generation Next arc and would have been on the team for sure. She should at least be invited to the inevitable reunion. The reason I ask is that she is totally stealing the show in the next issue of New Mutants (preview here) and has a new bubbly (old) Jubilee personality. Check it out!

If you count all the pages of 'Great X-pectations' I'm pretty sure she had more page time then Mondo in the full run =P

^so weird to see that while knowing he wont be involved in Husk's plotline, I guess Bachalo couldnt resist putting them together.

If Bachalo continues to draw the issues with Husk's story he'll at least make Jono react to Paige's taste in men in the background.
