Newspaper Strips Thread Or Forum ?

Any chance of a thread , or forum , discussing newspaper comic strips ?
There could be more than 1 , one for " mainstream " present-day ones , one for books that reprint classic ones , another for the most obviously comic BOOKS-related kind of ncs , the continuity strips of today , and another one for other " OTHER " kinds of comics - such as panel/gag cartoons , such as The New Yorker ( I subscribe - Oh , you effete , impudent , nattering nabob of negativism snob . - AND , I , at least try to , compete in their Cartoon Caption Contest !!!!!!!!! ) .
In a certain way , it's absurd to consider such ncs-owning companies as United and Tribune Media as " INDEPENDENTS " , but , in comic book fan terms...And , it sort of fits here .
