I hope starting a thread for my pictures here is okay.
Been trying to do some Hellboy/BPRD fan art, which i wanted to share. I'm a little nervous because there are so many talented peeps here already, so i hope you all like.

Ah thanks guys i'm glad you like the Daimio.
Lobster: yeah that's Beat Takeshi. I mentioned in the other thread that these were photomanipulations, but i forgot to say so here. I used Beat's head and a whole bunch of different stuff for the body. Not as difficult as Kate tho, who was an absolute NIGHTMARE to do.

You would think that with a hundred or so seasons of Stargate under her belt there would be one usable picture or screencap of Amanda Tapping wearing fatigues. Turns out no, so i had to make them from scratch. Meh.
Next up: Ms Sherman. Or maybe Panya.

Here's Liz and Abe...
I'm not really trying to stick to the movies with these, so i didn't use pictures of those actors as some of them don't really fit my idea of the characters. I suppose they are based more on the comics/how i would have done the movies, if that makes sense.

These are so fun! I really like what you've done with the backgrounds and the heavy chiaroscuro that echoes Mignola's artwork.

Those are all really cool, Simon :D and I agree: the BG really help to build the mood on each character and to bind it to Mignola's look&feel :)
