Default Create your own Justice League

Like the title says. The members of the Justice League are retired and there hasn't been a JL for a long time. One of the retired members sold you the Watch Tower (for free that is) 'cause he saw that can bring new hope in the DC universe. Your only job as of now, (and by the way, you get to use your internet persona to show them who's boss) is to recruit new members. Who would you like to recruit as the new Justice League? (Marvel characters aren't allowed)

The Seven Sins of Star Wars

    1: Yoda can beat God
2: Blaster pistols can blow up planets
3: Lighsabers are as hot as the sun
4: Luke Skywalker can move black holes
5: Star Destroyers can blow up planets
6: Darth Sidious rips Superman's head off
7: General Grevious has Force TK

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is not canon to anything. Nor is the new Clone Wars movie.

    So no Marvel, darn it.

I guess the Crime Syndicate of Amerika, the Justice Lords, Red Son Superman, Superman-Prime, Zoom, And ATT Slade seem fair?

I am thinking that the CSA doesn't fit with my theme, I guess I will remove them, I am going for wannabe violent heroes.

They can't be criminals, and I don't think I should let the Justice Lords count. And I'm not too comfortable with Superman Prime being here.

You didn't say that in the OP

I feel the Justice Lords count, they ae just misunderstood heroes,Superman-Prime wants to make the perfect world, how is that not a great cause?

I think I may but in Sharp's Wife as the leader.

Alrighty. I'll assume due to the OP that no current JLA-ers or 'big seven' of the regular DCU are available.

Leader- Optimus Prime (Transformers G1): He'd make wise decisions, is a great leader, is pretty powerful, and would keep the League on track in terms of its intended mission.

Lieutenant- Blossom (Powerpuff Girls): She has leadership experience and is a beastly powerhouse. It's only due to her young age that she's a lieutenant.

Tactician/Thinker- Brainiac 5 (DCU): He's perhaps one of the smartest beings in fiction, but his arrogance could work against him.

Loose Cannon- Severus Snape (Harry Potter): He wouldn't like the others and most wouldn't like him, but he could be insanely useful. I see him and Brainiac reluctantly being a tremendously formidable team.

Mage- Willow Rosenberg (Buffy, Season 8): Yeah, Snape's a great wizard, but HP magic and Buffyverse magic are rather different. Plus Willow's no stranger to tech, so she's a bit more 'team-friendly.'

Mentalist- Mewtwo (Pokemon anime): He'd be the Martian Manhunter of the group, a powerful telepath with a plethora of other powers, but alien, distant, and strange to the rest of the team.

Wildcard- Freakazoid! (WB): He's insane, but in a good way. Plus, toonforcing fun!

Stealth- Space Ghost (Hanna Barbera): We'll say he's the serious version seen in the semi-recent comics. He'd be sorta Green Lantern-ish in terms of attitude.

Detective- Bigby Wolf (Fables): While not the thinker Brainy is, he's an expert tracker and a good detective. While he may clash with the others almost as often as Snape, he's definitely a good addition to the team.

Diplomat- Belldandy (Oh My Goddess!): Since she's so darn likeable and diplomatic, Belldandy would represent the new League in most instances. She'd also be another good powerhouse in times of absolute crisis.

Wildcard2- Dial H for H.U.S.K. (Amalgam comics): Another wildcard, but not insane like Freakazoid. Her powers could be perfect for the situation, or make things worse as they don't always go the way she'd like.

Energy Manipulation- Flash (Tangent): Her manipulation of light would be a great boon to the team. Plus, she can utilize her powers pretty creatively when she wants to.

Energy Manipulation2- Static (Milestone): Virgil's wide range of uses for his electromagnetism powers would be great for both offense and defense.

I did this for RPGs though. I'll use pretty much the same team w/ video games in general. This would be my Big 7:

Tir McDohl: (Suikoden) Leader. The guy took an army of thieves and bandits and overthrew one of the world's premiere countries. Besides, all fear the Soul Eater.

Maria Traydor: (Star Ocean III) Second in Command. A great administrator and leader of Quark. She has to power to manipulate any matter into whatever she wants, though not on Firestorms level, if played right, she's also a VERY powerful mage. Also, her ship the Diplo is a fairly powerful star ship.

Lenneth Valkyrie: (Valkyrie Profile) The team's powerhouse. She could make Superman and Thor her bitches at the same time.

Ryu (Breath of Fire III) The guy turns into a freaking dragon. You need another reason?

Lavitz (Legend of Dragoon) Damn powerful fighter with wind manipulation. He's the Hawkman of the group, only not a dick, in fact, his personality makes him the perfect peace-maker/glue of the team.

Samus: (Metroid) Just because having a beautiful woman in a battle suit that can solo a planet full of pirates is a good thing.

Static Shock: (Static Shock) The young, optimistic, and at times light-hearted member of the team. I needed an energy specialist and he's a favorite of mine.

    My reserve members are:

Kanon (Wild Arms 2) A little known character from a rather less than average game, she was an awesome character and would be my primary reservist. Gun shooter, Spiderman level agility and a cybernetic arm with numerous applications. The only good character in that game.

Shinobi: (Shinobi game series) My Snake Eyes of the group. He'd be used primarily for deep cover ops and when needed, rescue missions.

Chun-Li (Street Fighter) Do I need a reason?

    My specialists/non-combatant characters are:

Gear: (Static Shock) He'll be my tech expert, but not smart enough to be a plot device. Stupid Reed Richards

Chloe Sullivan (Smallville): Again, not quite up to Oracle's level, but as an information broker, she's great. Plus, she's not plagued with the cynicism of most comic book characters.
