this guy keeps throwing around crap like "i'm just waiting for the right pitch!" about characters like Namor and Cloak & Dagger but greenlights this fan pitched idea that, as an actual story, is bound to be lamer than lame?

oh i agree, they all LOOK spectacularly funny...but is there going to be a real plot to justify it's existence like there was with Marvel Zombies? and by real plot, i do mean of course something beides "THEY'RE MARVEL! AND LOOK THEY'RE APES HAW HAW!"

Look at JLApes to see that there can be a real plot to everyone being Apes.

my point is, is it going to just be an amusing book to look at or is it going to have an actual plot? without the announcing of a creative team, i'm not sure how you can even argue that it'll have any true purpose without making the assumptions based on your own taste. i just want to know what purpose this book is going to serve & why we couldn't have just gotten a Marvel Heroes as Apes poster book & gotten a mini-series for an ignored Marvel hero instead.
