    Steven Grant catches me out:

I ain't got time for that now.

I do kind of miss the Mudd Club, though. (And the correct spelling is Mudd. Used to go there all the time for shows, and Ken Anger film festivals.)
Huh? **looks back** Crap. I knew that. Friggin' typos.

That was my error. I had inserted a test column for my programmer to take a look at (was trying to fix a bug) and it was set to "not published." Which it was not on the front page, but was on the columns index page, on the "Latest Columns" box, etc., and I didn't notice that until a couple of hours later. So I had to delete it so that people wouldn't see the column before it was actually ready to be published.

    Sorry about that, folks.

True, but now there's a columns RSS feed.

Now THAT brings back memories; I used to go there in the early 80's.

I used to mainly hang with a group which included Copernicus, as well as Pierce Turner and Larry Kirwan who, the last time I heard, are doing quite well in Ireland (update: Larry has a show on SIrius Radio).

    Take heart, Bart.

As long as the Earth orbits the sun, Copernicus will always be with us.

It seems that way; in any case, the various descriptions of him and his poetry do not mention how incredibly large and strong he is (or at least was 20 odd years ago). At a party once, I had to go, and he decided he didn't want me to leave. So he picked me up with one hand and carried me under his arm.

    I am 6' and 200 pounds.
