I want to check it out but i'm kinda worried it'll be delayed like Black summer which is now two months late. :) i'll check it out in a trade
there are no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, Chuck Norris lives in Oklahoma.
"Anna Mercury will be a series of mini-series" - So this is going the Ultimates-way. I'll definitely buy the first mini 'cause it's Warren Ellis and then see from there.

Really wish Ellis would do some more exciting creator owned stuff (besides Fell).
welll...
especially after seeing the interiors jump at my eyes, I am glad that I have been doing this on a PRE-order :D
Damn this looks good!!!
I might get this! The interior art looks surprisingly very good. It looks better than any of the promo artwork. I'm confused.![]()
I read this today.
I was... confused, ever so slightly. I mean, the set-up was cool, and Anna herself looked nifty (although her 90s-style explosion of big hair was, let's face it, a tiny bit silly, and she was definitely channelling Aeon Flux and the Black Widow just a touch), but I couldn't quite work out what the last page was implying.
Oh well, the next issue should reveal more, I suppose...
I'm down for at least the first mini-series. Ellis hasn't let me down with any of his creator owned work.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
And either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives
yeah, i know it came out last wednesday but i just finished the issue yesterday (i like to save the most promising indie books for last). i really truly enjoyed this issue. Facundo Percio's art is awesome, especially in the silent action scenes that are expertly paced. i was thrilled enough with this book to put Anna Mercury on my pull list (or at least i will when i stop by the shop today). anyone else check this book out?
I paged through it at the shop. Didn't look worth $4. And yeah, Avatar's books do smell weird (although I kinda like the smell).
It's definitely on my still-waiting-for-it to prove itself; but worth a second issue look.
Matt
