    For me, right now?

There's no book I'm loving quite as much as Teen Titans: Year One. What a BLAST. GORGEOUS art, fun fun dialog and great pacing. I hope DC keeps Amy Wolfram, in fact, I hope they chain her to a word processor, because she is fantastic!

Loving a LOT of books right now, but this one came out of nowhere and really makes me woobie!
On a side note, what does it look like to 'Woobie'?

TT Y1 is fantastic, utterly and completely.

I can't argue with this, but I really wanted to get my "Jaime is Peter Parker with a stable support system" theory out there.

Which I wholly support. Give it about twenty years, though, and he'll trade his and Traci 13's unborn daughter's soul to Neron to go back to the simpler days when he was just, y'know, saving the entire world from an invisible alien invasion.

Honestly, the odds of both his parents surviving the decade are pretty fucking slim. Hell, the odds of both of them surviving the run of whomever replaces Rogers are pretty fucking slim.

Maybe we'll get lucky and Pfeifer will just give him and Traci a baby for a few months before he gets bored and magics it away again.

The Brave and the Bold is about the only DCU book I follow any more. Clever, fast-paced, action-packed, nice art, and the heroes don't act like immature jerks all the time. A great read.

    Blue Beetle is my favorite.

The characterization is really tight, the story arcs are very fun, and most importantly I feel good when I'm done reading it.

The DCU is big in legecy characters and Jaime Reyes is being overlooked as the one that works the best in my opinion. The legecy of Ted Kord is in good hands!

JSA is my fave. Love the original characters and the legacy heroes.

    All-Star Superman

Wow... loves me that series. Honorable mention to Booster Gold.

My favorite is Checkmate. I like the complex characters and storylines, and Joe Bennett's art is great. It's too bad that Greg Rucka is leaving this book soon. I have little hopes for when Bruce Jones takes over.
DC: Batman, Batman Incorporated, Batwoman, Wonder Woman.
    Marvel: Daredevil, Hawkeye.
    Other: Fables, Fatale, Saga.

I have no idea who'd populate it, 'cause I don't think there's really a 'next generation' of heroes beyond Tim and Cassie et al, but this sorta has a feel that would work well for a new Young Justice series......

But who'd be in it? Chris Kent? The West twins? Nah, it'll probably take a while before that would be a viable idea. Still. Nice fit.

I think Madamoiselle Marie is the best new character/legacy of the past year.

and you know the sad part is is that some poeple just can't get over their obsession with kord and give the book a chance......I'll say the same thing I said to Jon Rogers.....
as far as I'm concerned this shoud have been your starman....it should have been put on hold till you came back but the fact that you still are being consulted about storylines gives me hope that it won't sink into the doldrums of mediocrity....
so yeah...hopefully it keeps the quality...I'm really interested in the next issue as it's an interestng concept too
