Default My Current Favorite DCU Comic Right Now Is...

    ...what?

You tell us what your SINGLE favorite DCU book running right now is, and why! And don't pick my books, I already have a big enough head!

    For me, right now?

There's no book I'm loving quite as much as Teen Titans: Year One. What a BLAST. GORGEOUS art, fun fun dialog and great pacing. I hope DC keeps Amy Wolfram, in fact, I hope they chain her to a word processor, because she is fantastic!

Loving a LOT of books right now, but this one came out of nowhere and really makes me woobie!

Wonder Woman too. Also not brown nosing, but it's the only monthly I'm buying.

All-Star Superman. Easily one of the greatest books of my lifetime.

    Birds Of Prey
The second fav is Wildstorm so it doesn't quite count and thats Gen13.

Though I really really hope that the godly artist that is Chen gets a major DC book after Salvations Run is over.

Booster Gold, because it's funny, and action packed at the same time and it has a wonderful supporting cast full of quirky characters with a lot of heart and drive.

    My favorite? It keeps revolving:

    Justice Society
    Wonder Woman
Tiny Titans (they're just so cute)

I'd have to go with Booster Gold, too!

    Not your books?

OK, Green Lantern is a great read at the moment with a universe stretching plot and solid characterization. The arts not too shabby either.

All Star Superman. I hadn't enjoyed the last couple of issues as much as the earlier ones, but damn, #10 was amazing.

I hear so many good things about Teen Titans: Year One, and the art looks so good. I had decided to wait until the trade for that one, but now I am getting impatient.

#1 alternates. Usually it's Catwoman, since you got the reigns with Wonder Woman it's risen up to contest and due battle with Wonder Woman each week as I try to decide which one I more enjoyed.

    WONDER WOMAN.

The reasons are many, but a lot of it has to do with the energy and enthusiam evident in the work. The people working on the book seem to take Diana and her world very seriously. I'm looking very forward to the regular artist, Aaron Lopresti. Once he's on board, I think this comic could cement itself as the best DC has to offer.

Geoff Johns and Gary Frank's ACTION COMICS comes in a very close second. And if you were asking about MARVEL: J. Michael Straczynski and Oliver Coipel's THOR.

Can't limit it down to run, but the Superman titles are blowing everything away. Busiek has done an amazing job, Johns just constantly cranks out great stuff, and All-Star Superman is nothing short of amazing.
