If DC Imprints works out maybe the Marvel section could get something like that too. That would create a place for Icon titles (yeah, I know there's only about 3 of them) and the literary adaptions and licenses (and MAX too, I suppose). Powers and Dark Tower don't really fit in Marvel Universe too well.

I'm guessing Marvel is just busier or it wouldn't need boards for Avengers, Hulk, Spider-Man, Ultimate and X-Men titles. So maybe it can't be streamlined as easily as DC.

and a few other books I can't be arsed to remember, mostly because they were treated like afterthoughts in favour of crap like Countdown and 52 spinoffs that also sold terribly.

New Question: Does Image Comics still need its own board, or should it just be tossed in with the other Independents? I still don't get why it has one and, say, Dark Horse or Oni don't.

I think Image should keep it's own board as it's one of the top 4 publishers, but Dark Horse should probably have it's own too as it is also.

The reason I suggested incorporating Image into the Independents is because both boards have minimal amounts of posting compared to many of the other ones, and I figured it would help increase traffic in both of them.

And I like the idea of a board for the Marvel Icon and MAX stuff as well. Threads about Criminal tend to get brutally ignored amidst all the discussion of the other stuff.
