    Default Good beginning, steep drop

I have the storyline in single issues. The story starts great - the first two issues, drawn by Nixey, are amazing, strange, weird and really convey a messsage of impending doom (I love the murmuring fish!).

Then, issues 3 & 4 were a real letdown in comparison. The story is still OK, but all this mood of the first two issues is gone. I don't really think it has to do with the changing artist, Dalrymple does a solid job with all those pustules, tentacles and suckers. Still, the atmosphere is gone. A pity.
