What do I need to know before picking up New and Mighty Avengers?

So today I picked up the new issue of Mighty Avenger and New Avengers. I'm mainly a DC guy these days, and I've barely read a Marvel comic in, like, five years. But I am sort of intrigued by this Secret Invasion thing.

So, is there anything major I need to know before reading these two issues? I could go back and read the TPBs, I know, but I don't have the money.

Just check out the Avengers Disassembled, Civil War, New Avengers, Mighty Avengers and Illuminati entries on Wikipedia. They'll give you a quick overview which should be all you need to understand what's going on.
