    Default What Superman is that?

I once heard about a story where Superman repopulates the entire planet with his super sperm. Basically all the men either die or go sterile and its up to Kal to keep the humans going, so he donates his raw material.. Where is this story presented and is it in a trade i could pick up?
Rogue and Bishop's daughter would be called Discharge, and she'd touch people and drain all or some of their bioelectrical energy out of them causing them to either die or fall unconscious. She could then use this energy to extend her own life, heal herself, enhance her physical abilities (speed, strength, stamina,) or discharge it as various energy beams.

It was a pretty craptastic (IMO) Elseworlds story called 'JLA: Created Equal.'

it sounds interesting to me. I don't know what actually happens in the story, but Id like to find out. So do Elseworlds come in trades?

Nevermind, I see it's a stand alone. Problem now is trying to find a copy it's pretty old. 2000.

There were two issues, actually. You can read a spoilery summary of both at the following link.

    http://www.emeralddawn.com/book/created.htm

My favorite part of the book was...

    spoilers:
Babs getting the Green Lantern ring.
    end of spoilers

    My least favorite part was...

    spoilers:
Which wasn't actually mentioned on the page I linked was Lois being inadvertantly beaten to death by her ridiculously powerful five year old son. It was a SUCK plot twist.
    end of spoilers

This story is a perfect example of "it's just comics, don't think about it that hard."

Because if you continue along the Kal filling the container idea, then it leads to all the DCU heroines using turkey basters...

i just read the summary and it seems like a wonderful story of survival. Especially if like Alex said you just look at it as a comic book and nothing else. It reminds me of those old 50's 60's comics where the story could be as cheesy as you wanted it to be but the idea and the fascination with the characters were the only things that were important. .... sadly to say i don't see to many things like this anymore :( I might have never been born in those times but I get the feeling a little bit of a recession back to those days of comic writing might help the industry a little more than epic events and cross overs.
