Default Re Cast Your Favorite Movie

    Re Cast Your Favorite Movie

Mine, not necessarily my favorite but definitely a classic is Back To The Future. I've been watching the DVDs with commentary and wondering who could you possibly get to play these characters.

Doc Brown: Jim Carey, I think Carey could definitely take on this role and do it as well as Lloyd did in the original. Both are great physical and facial comedians and Jim has the zaniness that Lloyd does.

Marty McFly: Adam Brody He can skateboard, and play guitar, plus he's a lovable loser and is a believable lead. I originally wanted him as George but scrapped it because I couldn't think of anyone else to play Marty that I would be willing to place as a lead above Adam. If it was ten years ago it would have been Nicholas Brendon.

Biff Tannin: Sean William Scott Really Just a filler because I can't think of anyone who could play him.

Lorain Bates McFly: Kristen Bell If I had to imagine having a tough time skirting my mothers romantic advances it would make it easier if it was someone like her

George Mcfly: Justin Long Another Lovable Loser. He would definitely be able to pull off George's awkwardness and vulnerability.

Jennifer Parker: Ellen Page Because I would cast her in anything.

Principle Stricklin Armin Shimerman Not nearly as imposing as the original Stricklin but who else would you rather have as the dictatorial principle?

Re cast your own favorite movie and comment on this one.

Just watched "Rocket Science" last night and all I could think through most of it was that Reece Thompson would have been a great Peter Parker.

He's a little young but maybe. How is Rocket Science btw I've thought about buying it but haven't actually done so. It looks pretty good in the previews.

    Star Wars:

Johnny Depp as Han Solo, but I love Ford's work.

...That's the only change I can possibly think of.

I'm pretty sure in real life Reece Thompson is 20 years old. You know, the age in movie time Spider-Man is supposed to be. Rocket Science is a good movie. It sags towards the end, but it is a good watch.
We'd like to wish EZMOHR all the best in his future....ah forget it.

She's not around because she's probably passed out drunk behind some car wash.

Yep. I like my Spider-Man young, in the movies anyways.

Rocket Science is good, but it really doesn't go with standard story expectations. It's a pretty typical indie comedy in terms of style, so if you like those kind of movies, go for it.

I must say this casting is pretty spot on.

only person I'd swap out Sean William Scott for Seth Rogen.

And Simon Pegg as the principal.
