Um...isn't Punisher #57 by Garth Ennis and Goran Parlov scheduled to come out in May.

I certainly hope so, at least. Because I just read #55 and I can't imagine how he could wrap this story up in one issue. I assumed it was a typical 6-part arc and #60 would be his last.

Sorry about that. Marvel's solicit text says it concludes the run, so that's what I ran with.

Read 55 today. It was excellent. Good set-up for what looks to be an epic ending for Ennis' run.

56, for next month, also looks good. We can see Howe's background.

I'm fairly sure that this arc concludes the run, not issue 56 or whatever.

Yeah, they use the same solicit quote for #57 so its referring to the arc " “VALLEY FORGE, VALLEY FORGE,” rather than this particular issue.
The run actually goes all the way to issue 60 according to Tim Bradstreet

I really love the Bradstreet covers on this Ennis run, he's really on a par with Alex Ross's photorealistic painting style, maybe better.

In June they're shipping another one of those annual/one-shot issues for Punisher Max by another creative team. So I expect that will be a skip month for the main book.

Marvel's solicitation announcing that #57 was the Ennis' final issue was a quite confusing. But, thinking about it, they couldn't make the story just 3 issues long, how would they expand that into a trade?
