    Default PMing problem

    Whenever I send a PM, and I look at my sent PMs, it says the PM was read regardless if the other person read it or not. I just tested it by PMing someone and told them not to read it, but it still said the PM was read

    Did you check the "request a read reciept" option thingie?

    I think it just defaults to "read" in that case.

    Try checking it and testing it again.

    The only things that are checked are

    "Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder."
    "Show your signature"
    "Automatically parse links in text"

    When you make a new message and before you send it, you need to check [Request a read receipt for this message] Under Miscellaneous Options.

    Not that I know of. Matt or Jonah maybe able to switch that.

    I would be fantastic if that was set as the default. In the olden days (before the latest major forum software update) it was automatic. I can never remember to scroll all the way down there and tick that check box.
