Default Nightmares are no friend to the insomniac

Now I know why I don't like horror movies about Evil, in the modern genre: a percentage of my nightmares remind me of those movies.

On the flip side... they make truly scary material for stories, etc. for the really scary moments when a smart, insidious evil is after the character(s)---if you can manage to wake up and then to think about WRITING IT ALL DOWN, after you wake.

At least I can get *some* good out of those kinds of nightmares.

Argh---and I was sleeping so good...:(

I remember reading Stephen King's It and then going to bed and then it became really windy, and in my half-asleep post-book state I thought "shit, it's Pennywise!". :(

I'm happy to say my nightmares have subsided recently which is good news. However, I've been having trouble sleeping almost the whole week.

I would like to read some of these nightmares though, Solaris. :)
