    Default Villain Minis and OGNs

Any suggestions on good minis and one shots ect that feature villains?
So far I've come up with Books of Doom and Bullseye Greatest Hits.
Didnt BKV do a Mystique mini recently? Is the recent Namor mini worth picking up in trade?

    Cheers

BKV's book was actually an ongoing, not a mini. It lasted fifteen issues, I believe, and was really quite enjoyable.

Bullseye is one of my favorite villains, but "Greatest Hits" and the follow-up, "Punisher vs. Bullseye," failed to impress me very much. Books of Doom is exquisite, though, and I highly recommend the Namor mini.

EDIT: Stay the hell away from "Identity Disc." You'd think a team-up of Bullseye, Deadpool, Sandman, Juggernaut, Vulture, and Sabretooth would make for a great mini-series. It doesn't.

I wouldn't really call it "recently." It ended three years ago. It's run was from 2003-2005. The series itself lasted 24 issues total. BKV's run on Mystique was only issues 1 - 13. Sean McKeever wrote 14 - 24.

Not technically a mini or one-shot, but Daredevil 181 is a double-sized classic narrated entirely by Bullseye. Excellent comic.

Thanos Quest is a two-issue, prestige format series that features him attempting to gather the six Infinity Gems. Prequel to the Infinity Gauntlet, great stuff.

The first Punisher miniseries, from way back in the 80s, was pretty good if memory serves.

    I recommend this TPB:

It's a great read, and most of it is the Green Goblin's POV.

    You can try

Deadly Foes of Spider-man mini series 1-4 which focused on the Sinister Syndicate - The Beetle/Rhino/Hydro-man/Speed Demon/Boomerang.

Lethal Foes of Spider-man mini series 1-4.

Spider-man : Breakout mini series 1-5 about the U-foes against other supervillains with Spider-man in the middle.

Venom - Deathtrap : the Vault (used to be Avengers : deathtrap the vault GN) - a bunch of supervillains overtook the vault and the avengers & freedom force have to go in to rescue the guards.

That was what they retitled it when they realized Venom sold. It's not very villain focused, which is probably why it was originally Called Avengers: Deathtrap: The Vault.

    Fun book, in any case.

And both the venom softcover and the avengers GN are pretty rare nowadays.

It is a fun read with truckloads of villains and conflict abound.
