Harry strikes me as being a bottom, while the Black Rook would be a top, and quite sadistic about it too. Also, some great facial hair going on with the two of them.

Plus, the Inner Circle members are all loaded with money, and they're connected.

I think a major weakness of the Inner Circle is that they don't use teamwork, though. Usually, they are defeated by the X-Men after chaos has erupted because they can't effectively stand against their tactics, switching opponents, et cetera.

The Lords Cardinal did use team work in various ways:

• When the X-Men entered the Hellfire Club for first time, the Inner Circle ambushed the X-Men with the help of Jean Grey as the Black Queen. Uncanny X-Men #132
• The White Queen traded bodies with Storm to ambush the X-Men from within while Sebastian Shaw used his Sentinels to take out the X-Men Uncanny X-Men #151-152.
• The Hellfire Club effectively defeated the X-Men using team work between Selene, Sebastian Shaw, Harry Leland, & Friedrich Von Rhoem until Nimrod showed up...Uncanny X-Men #208

The Hellfire Club basically uses people as chess pieces. They have a long term strategy & rarely go into battle themselves, but when they do they are prepared.

Fitzroy was given his stature by Shinobi Shaw, which makes him about as relevant as Jessica Simpson's acting career in terms of the Hellfire Club's history.

Friedrich's powers were generic "lupine" like mutant. So, his facial hair gets unfair help.

Benedict Kine... again... appointed by Shinobi. Being a member of the Upstarts is only a half-step from being a member of the Hand, AIM, or Hydra.

Hmm, I'd got Harry mixed up with the Black Rook. He was really cool too.

I like the fact that Leland wasn't the charming rogue with powers like most characters that plague the mutant World. A fat nasty fella who likes the S&M.

Also that Black Rook guy, was he some sort of vampire? I recall the he was Selene's slave and she was the one that turned him into that creature.

Anyway I think the World needs another Hellfire Club with filthy members.
