- The White Queen traded bodies with Storm to ambush the X-Men from within while Sebastian Shaw used his Sentinels to take out the X-Men Uncanny X-Men #151-152.
- The Hellfire Club effectively defeated the X-Men using team work between Selene, Sebastian Shaw, Harry Leland, & Friedrich Von Rhoem until Nimrod showed up...Uncanny X-Men #208
The Hellfire Club basically uses people as chess pieces. They have a long term strategy & rarely go into battle themselves, but when they do they are prepared.
Alas, he was not felled by Nimrod, but of his love of fatty foods. We all miss you, Mr. Leland. :(
so, what are your feelings on Trevor Fitzroy? did he ever make it past Rook status?
Also that Black Rook guy, was he some sort of vampire? I recall the he was Selene's slave and she was the one that turned him into that creature.
Anyway I think the World needs another Hellfire Club with filthy members.
