How do you place pictures in your posts?? I've tried a couple of things, nothing has worked so far. Any suggestions??

The easiest way is to copy the image location such as:

    http://www.thegeekout.com/comics/tlt...ges/103004.gif

Then when you are writing a post, click on the insert image button (the little picture of a mountain) and paste the link into the popup window.

It is best to use a hosting service for images such as flickr or photobucket since some sites do not like it when people hotlink their images.

You're not using an image link. Most image links end with either .gif or .jpg.

To get most image links, you can right click on an image and "copy image location". Or the image hosting service you use sometimes gives you the image link already.

I too am having difficulty. I tried your suggestion, I seem to loose my copy in transit. My paste does not show up.
I also use photobucket now, seems my file is to big. The first time I used photo bucket I did not have a problem, file size was okay, now it is to big. Any thoughts

Are you using the attach image feature or the insert image feature?

    I tried both,
1, attach or mannage files I upload. I resized using photobucket, It told me my file size is to big.
2, Insert image i loose in transit. I would right click on image, click on copy. close out of photobucket log into cbr, click on insert image, I put the curser on the window and right click to see paste and it is not there only copy again.

The attach image feature has both a physical and file size limit.

As for the insert image feature, you do not copy the image itself but the image file location.

    For Photobucket:
Copy the text in the Direct Link - Layout Pages
Then paste it into the inert images popup window.

You didn't copy the correct image location.

    It should be http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/h...irl/Asa034.jpg

On your photobucket page for the iamge there is a Direct Link - Layout Pages section. Copy the text there.

So it will end up like:
