    Default Exiles

Tony, as most of your stuff I really enjoyed you 40 issue run on Exiles & I can't believe Marvel removed you from the title and handed it to CC. I went back ( because of you ) and purchased nearly all the trades, now I have dropped the series ( CC has ruined everything you did for the book )

PS, I know it will not happen, but I wish they would do the Worlds Tour in OHC format, the quality of story and Art desearves it more than alot of other stuff they are doing it to.

Just wanted to throw congrats out to your old partner Paul, landing the penciling job of Guardians of the Galaxy. I just wish it was he & you on the title, still not sure of abnett and lanning

Yeah, it pains me every day that I'm not still working with Paul, but I'll be the first to pick up his Guardians of the galaxy comic. Abnett and Lanning have done an outstanding job with Nova, and I expect this will be a great read, too.

Wow, they actually "let you go" off of Exiles? That completely blows. I gave Claremont a few issues in Exiles but I went from looking forward to it all the time when you wrote it to feeling like I had to power through it when Claremont took over.

Well, I honestly haven't read the book since I left, so I don't know what Claremont's up to, but I wish the guy well. I had a pretty long run on the book and no real regrets about leaving. And now i have BIRDS OF PREY coming up from DC, so things are looking good.

Tony - Glad you don't have hard feelings about Exiles and that you've moved on. It did seem like you told a lot of the Exiles stories you had in you. Sadly, a lot of us Exiles fans have moved on too (for me after a year or so). Claremont's Exiles is just too convoluted (in a hard to understand way - I LIKE convoluted usually). And his alternate worlds seem to make little sense. BTW - your Wolverine issues of Exiles were brilliant and I am not even a Wolverine fan. Glad you had a chance to write them even though you were supposed to leave slightly earlier.

True, I am definitely grateful for the issues I did get from you. I went from having no interest in Exiles, to picking it up because I liked what you did in Spider-Man: Breakout. The Wolverine issues were my favorites too. LOL A lot of great moments there.

Like Warhawk said, Claremont loves exposition just for the sake of exposition and it kind of takes away from what's going on, making it a chore to get through.

I guess I stopped reading DC at the wrong time because it seems like when I jumped off, you became DC exclusive. LOL :p
