Flawed example as the energy has somewhere to go (in this case the energy of the flame is being transfered to the atmosphere.) In the case of the universe the energy is not going anywhere, it is moving to a point where all places have equal amounts of it. No energy is being used, merely converted from one form to another. Used can only refer to a system with in the universe where energy is lost.

You're a very smart boarder, but while others on here might enjoy intelligent discussion, I don't. I'm American, it's not my style.

That's just my opinion though. Take it with a grain of a salt, I spent five years in high school, scored low on every I.Q. test I've taken & enjoyed Alien Vs. Hunter.
