Run-a-ways? What an odd title. I'd swear I've heard it somewhere before . . .

    What happened?

Did Whedon get bored again and decide to finally finish an issue?

    Angry Rude Much??

Josh Whedon is incredibly talented and I'm a huge fan. I'm still having withdrawals even after all these years since BtVS got cancelled. To this day, it is still my favorite show of all time, although I find season 6 and 7 (esp. 6) a bit weak and not up to par with seasons 1-5. I understand that it was somewhat due to his spreading himself far too thin by juggling far too many projects at the time, e.g., BtVS, Angel, Firefly, Ripper, BtVS cartoon, etc.

Now fast forward to a few years later, I think he's having the same problem because it translates to Astonishing X-Men and The Runaways being consistently and egregiously late. It's intesting to note that his "pet" project Buffy Season 8 is churning out right on schedule. Granted it has a rotating roster of writers. I find his tardiness with Marvel books extremely unprofessional and offensive because he could've done a better job at coordinating Astonishing and Runaways.

How long has it been since he asked and took over The Runaways after Brian K Vaughn's departure and when did the last issue(#28) come out? I hope to God that his taking his sweet time with The Runaways hasn't ruined the book or make it lose its readership. It'd be a travesty if it ends up getting cancelled as a result.

    I vaguely remember this series...

Everyone has a price. Some are cheaper than others.

Seriously. Now I have to go back and read the last couple issues. I don't remember a dast thing.

I think it's that it's more than he has always had gender-confusion (something I imagine a shapeshifting race would be particularly suspectible to), and this shows how Xavin thinks about himself now.

    Five issues in a year.

I'm not. The storyline and writing weren't that great anyway. Of course, I've never been much of a Runaways fan, but I came on board a few issues before Whedon took over. Frankly, I preferred what I read before he got the book.
