    Wait . . . there's an Annihilation tie-in in #7? Where?

There is a moment where Ulton appears on a computer screen in one panel in the sixth issue. It's not that noticeable, which is why I was curious about it.

Hopefully the Annihilation book will do a descent explaining the transition from the Ultron we see in MA to the Ultron we see in Annihilation. That series hasn't bothered explaining a lot of things though (I still have huge unanswered questions from the first Annihilation).

Good interview. That preview art is pretty bad btw. Not trying to be a jerk but I couldn't stand it.

Still looking foward to all of this.

I really liked the art of Ares on that last page.

It looks great, I love Yu's art, and the story line looks very very very planned out, and that makes me happy. with Bendis writing and Yu on art, it looks like delays will be nonexistent.

Yeah... I almost hate to jinx it, but this is one major event that I honestly don't expect any delays from. Neither Bendis nor Yu ever seem to have trouble spitting their part of the work load out on time.

I trust Bendis on this. All the tie ins (so far) are by him, or by his buddies (Brian Reed). I think it will be good, at least regarding on the delays.

I enjoy reading interviews with Bendis, because he seems like an intelligent and thoughtful guy. And it does sound like he has learned some things (the hard way) about writing comics. But I'm still not a fan, because I see glaring weaknesses in his storytelling methods. His remarks about Nick Fury sound like those of a writer who has really thought hard about who the character is and what he represents. But then I've seen Bendis completely fumble writing an iconic character like Captain America in two dramatically different ways, and that leaves me with no confidence that he understands Fury.

I think Bendis basically defined who Fury is today, the same way he did with Cage. The characters entire status quo has been mapped out by Bendis since Secret Wars. At this point, if someone is writing Fury they have to first understand Bendis version of the character.

I just want to quickly say that Brian was a great interview here. He seemed honest and grounded, yet still very positive about the next big event.

I am thoroughly impressed with his answers to all of the questions asked of him.

i always got the vibe from bendis that even if he made choices i didn't like he would probably have good reasons for it... i dunno. i guess he just seems like a fun/smart guy to talk about comics with.

good to know rocket raccoon's not a skrull though.:D
