    Default Heath Ledger Reported Dead: Plays Joker

    The Associated Press is reporting that Heath Ledger is dead in NYC.

    MSNBC is conducting live interviews at the moment with media commentary about his background and the circumstances of his being found in his appartment.

    The initial, unconfirmed report is that he was surrounded by pills.

    Ledger was to play "The Joker" in the next Batman movie.
    Images of his made-up face are circulating on the internet.
