Even the characters I didn't like were likable in that run.

I very much enjoy it. Probably my single favourite X-Men run. I'll admit I'm a little biased since it is the X-Men series that got me reading single issues regularly but I very much enjoyed it. Might give it a reread sometime, Issues are back in Newfoundland though.
