There's still one Gigantic issue left. It's so big that it can not be shipped on time.

Don't forget how highly strung Morrison was - he basically stopped writing the Authority mid arc because he disliked the fanbase's comments. Jemas wouldn't have had to do very much at all to piss Grant off.

I like the series. It had some great moments early on, and some great covers to match.

But every issue takes about 3 minutes to read, and all the delays basically made me stop caring about or forget what was going on.

Does it? How did his return erase the unselfish act he committed to save mutants from the Legacy Virus?
I can come up with a better excuse than "A Alien wanted to do tests on me". And then there's how Ord got the body out from under the noses of Colossus's teammates like Wolverine.

    True enough, I suppose.

Another big problem, that. The length of time it takes to read it does not justify having to wait six months for the issue in the first place. Marvel is really stretching credibility with this bizarre marketing.

It's an alien, we don't have to explain it?

    I got nothing

You can't tell me that's not unreasonable!
I think the book was stated to be bi-monthly.

Whats that? rZi posting about how much he loves AXM again? NEVER!

I really don't post about anything else.

Whedon says the cofin they buried was empty, so it happend before this. If you mentioned Wolverine i assume you mean his sense? Romolus has used oils to cover up his scent to counter act this.

Ord is also a champion style gladiator from a warrior planet, give him more credit.

The writer would have to come up where the spacecraft landed without any of the X Men seeing it.

Was I dreaming or was Giant Size Astonishing X-Men supposed to come out on May 22?

Cloaking devices and/or teleportation rays are the likely macguffins here, I'd imagine.

Then again, actually coming up with such a concise explanation might be confusing for the proverbial new readers, so...

Since an entire issue was devoted to Kitty taking 'Peter's' ashes to his homeland, one would hope there wasn't a coffin at all.

I guess brining him back out weighed the continuity issue.

Not so much that it prevented Whedon from having Kitty specifically mention scattering his ashes. It's right there in issue 5.
