I love this guys face!!! But he's Loki already. 8( I hate when they cast the same people in different roles for the same genre.

Yeah, but covered in blue with yellow contacts, who would notice? I guess the only time using the same actor bugs me is when it is obviously the same person.

I remember when first I had found out that Nightcrawler was to be included in the cast of X2 -- I was so psyched up. Then Alan C. with false teeth shows up on the screen. To anyone who likes the actor, my apologies, I actually do like him myself in other parts -- but I just couldn't see him as Nightcrawler.

Ugh, his grill and nails still haunts my dreams. I don't really care for his nose, but his did have the right stature and his eyelashes are adoreable. Overall I liked his char but they made him too timid. 8/

X2 opener is still one of my favorite movie scenes of all time that alone made the movie worth for me, just the thought of Nightcrawler opening up and doing some damage made my day. LOL.

Very much so. They took one of the least popular renditions of the character (quiet, priestly/overly religious) and used that on the big screen. I wonder who recommended that one?

Oh agree, that opening action scene was pure bliss....all the way until he was crouched over the president with those teeth...gah.

What really surprised me, given the popularity of Wolverine in the films especially, was that Hollywood didn't cash in on one of the most popular buddy combinations in Marvel. I mean Wolverine as the tough guy arse kicker with Nightcrawler as the foil has been ranked within the top ten in comics for pretty much the entire 35 years it existed.
