Ha! That's a cool idea.
Thanks, Andy.

having prof X as an Ace rasies my hopes greatly that we'll see lots of X-Men involvement in Secret Invasion. I'm a tad suprised that Doom is not an Ace, but I suppose if he's not a Skrull, then he'll be showing up in the facecards.
I'd buy this deck if Marvel put it out as a tie in. Anyone else?
I'm STILL with Iron Man.
Well we have seen the build up in Illuminati for the confrontation with the Skrulls, so it makes a bit of sense that of the 4 Aces we have 4 members of the Illuminati that have not been dealt with, BlackBolt as evidenced in the fight sequence at the end of the Mini-Series.
This leaves the question then, is Doctor Strange not there because there are only 4 Aces, and they have to push one of the 5 left down to a King, or is it because he has already been dealt with, and he is now a Skrull impostor.
will these cards be for sale??
If it was any other alien race, I would dismiss this as completely absurd. But the ways Skrulls have been infiltrating Earth societies for so long, I can see them actually taking a liking to cards, especially poker. They are probably fascinated by the way a deck of just 52 (or 54) cards can be used for so many games, and some of the best games involve bluffing.

The Skrulls probably give the Illuminati the Aces over guys like Doom because they actually stepped up and attacked the Skrulls. They made this personal.
I'll wager powerful/dangerous earthmen like Doom or Nick Fury will get high cards, but the Illuminati earned themselves a special place in the skrulls hearts.
I smell a guessing game! Who will be our 4 Kings, Queens and Jacks?
I'd agree that Doom and Fury both deserve King spots on the Skrull hit-list. I'd bet that Black Bolt would be a king (HA!) had BB not been taken out of contention by merit of his replacement already occuring. Strange has to be in there somewhere as to not spoil weather or not he's already a skrull... so he gets a king slot as well. The 4th slot would have to be someone along the same lines as the rest- a ruler or a mover and shaker in the MU. T'Challa and Hank Pym both fit that categorization. Lower then that on the lists and you get into the "Field Level" heroes and leaders- Ms. Marvel, War Machine, Cyclops and Luke Cage. Below them you get functionaries, back-up personnel and smaller team leaders like Norman Osborn, Emma and Maria Hill.
So Kings-
Doctor Doom
Nick Fury
Dr. Strange
Black Panther
Queens-
Hank Pym
Ms. Marvel
Cyclops
War Machine
Jacks-
Luke Cage
Emma Frost
Maria Hill
Norman Osborn
Any other ideas?
I'm STILL with Iron Man.
Oh and If I was pressed to do tens (and I know you'll beg me to do them) I'd do this-
Tens-
H.P. Gyrich
Beast
The Hood
Dum Dum Dugan
I'm STILL with Iron Man.
Queens
Sue Richards
Maria Hill
Storm
Ms. Marvel
Some guesses...
Kings:
Dr. Strange
Dr. Doom
Black Panther
Thor
Queens:
Ms. Marvel
Maria Hill
Agent Brand
Storm
Jacks:
Cyclops
Emma Frost
Norman Osborn
Sentry
Did a Skrull write this sentence? :)Earth is in dire peril -- and we doesn't even know it. The planet's been targeted by fanatical and violent alien invaders, claim our world as their own.
Possibly. I don't trust anyone.
The Q have to be ladies I'm guessing.
Do the SKrulls know of Thor's return?
And they don't know what Nick Fury has been up to. He's gonna kick Skrully ass
when he returns and reclaims SHIELD along with his team: Captain Buckamerica. Agent 13, Falcon, Wolverine (the first to escape from the Skrulls) and Molly Hayes.

I hope Martin sues Marvel for stealing the term "Aces". Anyone who has read the 17 or 18 wonderful Wild Cards books knows what I'm talking about.
