    Default Throat Dry, Can't Drink

So I at this moment I am thirsty beyond reason and really want some water, but cannot drink anything. I just got home from a 13 hr shift(which since its a holiday I get paid for 19.5hrs) and really want to eat and drink. I had supper but missed lunch.

Anyways I figure the sooner I go to bed, the sooner I wake up and get my stupid little minor surgery tomorrow morning over. the sooner that happens the sooner I can eat and drink. Its not like the surgery is going to do anything but remove something that isn't likely to be cancerous but they have to put me under to do it anyways, which kind of sucks.

I am hoping that by 5/6ish tomorrow night that even if there is some pain I can hang out with a friend whom I haven't seen since a 2 weeks before x-mas. Otherwise I working Thursday, friday, saturday and sunday and it won't happen and I go back up to school about 2 hrs north on the 13th/14th.

well I am off to bed so I can get things over with and am hoping my dry throat won't keep me up all night.

It's a good thing you gave up Riverdancing, then.

...and good luck with the surgery.

You can't even drink WATER? That's a pretty strict fast. Anyway, best of luck with your surgery.

Thanks everyone. Turns out that I didn't have to be put out after all so I could have been able to eat and drink. Though I now have some stitches and possible pain every once in a while.

However the guy who was supposed to work in my place tonight is really sick and even though in the last 3 weeks home from school I covered for 4 different people no one else can find a way in so I am going to have to go in and work for about 5 1/2 hrs tonight. I took some Aleeve and theres no pain for the moment but I have a feeling it might come back later tonight.
