Default Negation TPBs 3 and 4 by Checker

Tony, Don't know if you ever saw it, but Checker appears to be publishing the 3rd and 4th trades of Negation. The dates are past but they aren't on the Barnes and Noble website as some of the others (like the 5th Sojourn) are so maybe they aren't out yet. No info on collecting collateral comics like Mark of Charon though.

To anyone else reading this thread, Negation is a fantastic series and the third and fourth trades publish what I think are the best issues in the run (of course it is half the run, all of which was really good - writing and art).

Don't get your hopes up, T.B. I picked up a copy of the Scion vol. 6 TPB, and it's kind of a horror show. Hideous design sense on the cover (both front and back); the interiors include all the Story So Far... pages and credits pages for some reason; pages 2 & 3 of the trade are completely blank; and my favorite: on Scion's front cover, it says volume 6, but on the spine ... volume 5.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to have them in print ... but a little nicer job would've been, uh, nice.

    Merry Christmas!

Guess I'm glad I have all the Negation series in the original comics (except for the first in trade) and most of Scion in comics already (I was interested in Checker to fill out my Sojourn and Scion series but maybe I'll just get the individual comics). But if I didn't have most of the originals I think I would be glad to find the trades.

BTW Ron, glad you finally got to wrap up some of Kyle's loose ends: I still remember picking up your first issues of Green Lantern! (and Hal was great as a 'villain').

    Happy Holidays!

Funny, but I would've edited the trades for free -- or at least check them for errors...

    Me too.

But then Checker might've actually had to, y'know, give us a copy or two.

Uh...Wildstorm need to buy the rights. IMHO.

    New stories. Complete trades.

I haven't purchased any of the Checker book collections for the store yet. Should I?
