Just had an idea. What if they proceeded the film with a 40's newsreel-style cartoon of Lobster Johnston made by Mignola (or with a Mignola visual style).

Course most audiences wouldn't have a clue what it was, but it could be like those Roger Rabbit cartoons that ran before Disney features for a few years there. Like Toy Story I seem to recall.

Speaking personally - Get Smart looks like a trainwreck, Prince Caspian is more Christian propaganda, thanks but no thanks, and while I'm very excited to see Batman I just plain prefer Guillermo and the Hellboy universe.

Now if you'd said Iron Man...that'd be a tougher choice for me :D

can't wait! loved the first and will certainly see the second in the theater. 08 is turning out to be a great year for comic book movies. It's gonna be awesome!

Apparently, they are trying to keep the focus on Hellboy more than the first movie. We got to know Hellboy in the first movie, so now we can dwelve deeper into his character.

This is almost as anticipated for me as TDK if you can believe that.
