sketch update... 11.26.07 Green Arrow

While at the conventions I do a lot of sketches that don't see print anywhere! They are drawn on the spot and whisked away to a private collection. I love it that these pieces are given a loving home, but they also need to be shared and enjoyed by everyone!

Last time I posted a sketch it was of Hawkeye... Now for his DC counterpart...Green Arrow! A lot of you who've visited my website ( http://www.shiverinthedark.com ) may have noticed a color pin up of Green Lantern in my gallery. This Green Arrow piece was created as a partner to that image.

Actor Scott Porter ( Jason Street from NBC's "Friday Night Lights" ) requested this piece to be created in the first place... Scott's a real comic fan and an all around great guy. But man, he doesn’t' let up... He kept telling me again and again, "C'mon...you've gotta make a matching Green Arrow!" And he meant it, putting his money where his mouth is by commissioning this piece for his personal collection! I think that you'd agree looking below that it was a great idea...

So There you go... Scott Porter, Actor and Art Director all in one!

I hope you all had a great turkey day... man, Brett Farve's still got it!
