Hey, is it alright if I ask a favor of all the artists who are fans of Penny on here?

I'm not sure we have any, but MIMIC616 sometimes gets Penny and/or Mimic commissions from artists.

I was looking for the issue when M was slowly tranforming into Hollow/Penance but it stopped because i think it was just a dream or imagination.

It actually happened very quickly, in the blink of a... panel.

At that time when M was Penance or the twins were Penance, how come their personality becomes different when they become Penance. I mean M doesn't act like Penance who wants to be alone and doesn't speak. So were the twins? and who among the twins were taking control of Penance body more?

I just remembered one of my favorite characters in Darkstalkers, Hsien-ko whose situation is also kinda similar, but not quite.

The M Twins acted like The M Twins when they were in the Penance body. They took turns, but it did seem like Nicole (the non-autistic one) was in control more than Claudette, which I think was also the case when they gestalted into the Twins' Monet form. It's the Twins' version of Monet that was able to take Monet's place in the Penance body, using Larry Hama logic and a whole lotta magic, lol. Best not to overthink personality shifts, BUT it's been explained that gestalted forms have different personalities/powers than their base forms (which made the combination of Twins'M and Emplate so much more deadly than either entity separately).

In addition to the 1+1=3 theory (i.e. the whole is greater than the sum of its parts), Monet may've been acting differently because she was traumatized. Peter David has implied as much in issues of X-Factor, I believe.

I'd like to think that what we saw in Generation X was the traumatized true Penance having control of her own body, because Monet lost control at some point, and that after she was freed of Monet and the twins, she became more confident in herself and her friends (Jubilee, in Annual '99, describes the new Penance as a pitbull, while the old Penance was a house cat).

I like how Hsien-ko's claws are kind of like Penance's and you're right, she does have a haunted background, too. My fave Darkstalker is Felicia, though. ;)

Well, recently Fanfiction.net added an option to put cover art to all fics. I was wondering, since Penny is a main character in all my Generation X fics, if someone would help me out by coming up with some cover art. If so, cool, if not, just thought I might ask.

Hmm, I had not considered using that pic. It would work for at least five of the stories, maybe adding a title onto it for the stories. I'll check with the artist first though.

Pretty sure once they've expressly given it to you for your use, you're free to display it and/or add a title, but sure, check first.

I submitted a question to David Lapham for the next X-Position, but who knows if it'll be asked. I also forgot to sign the mail again... but I sent it from my Starleafgirl address, so hopefully they'll just use "Starleafgirl," lol.

The question I asked was whether the female Penance making an appearance in AoA #6 bears any connection to the Generation X heroine of the same name. :) I raised the point that both AoA and Gen X are from the '90s.

The tracking was not good. Well i don't have enough money to buy a ticket. But I'm doing just fine now. I'll go back to anther island by sunday or monday.
