Of the students at the Massachusetts Academy, she's certainly the one who's crossed into the greater Marvel Universe the most (until AvX... we'll see what the Gen X kids do there), that I can think of, but is she well-known in either the X-Men (via Generation X) or Avengers (via Avengers Academy or Fujikawa Industries, rival of Stark Industries) or Spider-Man (via Phil Urich) or Marvel Heroes (via Ricochet of Slingers, Lightspeed of Power Pack, Turbo of New Warriors, or Darkhawk) universes? Unfortunately, not.

It's difficult to say who's the most popular in terms of fan response, but just from the polls I've seen, that would probably go to Jubilee. In terms of use by writers, she has the unfair advantage since she's been around since the 80s. In modern times, Monet has had the most staying power since joining X-Factor. However, Jubilee is starting to make a comeback...you know before getting ousted from her latest book. Unfortunately Penance is pretty far down the list, but probably not as low as Artie and Leech! She seems to be fondly remembered by 90s fans, but hasn't had much exposure to later generations. If she can get some notable appearances, who knows. Until then, at least she has a loyal cult following. On a side note, this thread is up to 55 pages, which is a lot more than some character threads that have been in established books for years (i.e. Warpath). That's pretty impressive in my book!

Indeed. She is one of the most captivating characters Marvel has come up with. Even her ability, which shouts "STAY AWAY", makes you want to know who she is.
