Actually, Bullseye's skeleton, instead of being based on Lord Darkwind's work, actually WAS Lord Darkwind's work. The last thing Lord Darkwind did before his death was to heal Bullseye's spine and coat parts of his skeleton in adamantium.

Lady Deathstrike was great back in her heyday and I still think that Uncanny X-Men #205 is her best story. I really liked her and the Reavers wreaking havoc on whoever crossed their path back then.

She hasn't been all that interesting to me since Larry Hama's run on Wolverine, and the OP's example of Wolverine #77 is a good point. The original feud was the adamantium and after it was gone she seemed to have made her peace with Logan even if a bit reluctantly.

When she did resurface again the cues taken from the second X-Men film tying her to Stryker brought the character down quite a bit and it's been a slow recovery since. Gutting Hellion during Messiah Complex was a nice step in the right direction in returning to form though.

man I really couldnt stand her. I found her to be a very annoying villian as far as they go. I did love her in the X2. While I wanted Yu as Psylocke, she rocked as Deathstrike and her fight with Wolverine was among my favorites.

What bothers me so damn much is the lost plot thread in Wolverine 111-114 that Hama was working on before OZT. Where Wolverine was given a cube by Zoe Culloden that belonged to the family of Lady D. She was possessed by Ogun and then the story was dropped.

Its been like 12 years and I'm still waiting for the conclusion of that plot line

One of my favorite of the X-Bad Girls Club. Lady Deathstrike is one bad bitch. I would have loved for her to slice X-23 in half and showed that little clone how a real woman works long nails!

i love the way they've visually made her like her x2 counterpart but everything else they've done with lady dee has been awful. while she was great with stryker and even more amazing when she cut off shiro's legs ever since messiah complex she has been completely shamed. she was completely dis serviced in messiah complex by having x-smelly pee give her a shameful beatdown. i mean really? lady dee has been trained in martial arts since childhood and has beaten logan to a point of near death....and this...THING was able to beat her up with such ease? didn't buy it then and definitely don't buy it now. hopefully they can return lady dee to her former glory. i suggest her beheading the new generation of mutants one by one.

Since being in the sisterhood, i've lost nearly all of my appeal for the character. Lady D is always under someones beck and call now. Even when william stryker was dead and gone in the messiah complex storyline she was still bitching about him being her master and wanting to fulfill his wishes. Can she even think for herself anymore? Shes needs a lot more independence.
