Would it be possible to drop the 30 second search limit? I understand the post limit, but I'm not sure what the reasoning is with the search limit. I often come up with nothing on the first attempt and have to wait (a whole 30 seconds, I know!) until the timer runs out to try again.

Indeed it does, it also assists in protecting the server against low life 15 year old teenie idiots who like to set up bots to hammer the search function and thus bring the server speed way down.

If that's the case, then maybe bringing the limit up to 60 seconds (or longer) might help even more.
